On August 2 and 3, 38 members of civil protection were called to help secure the route of the 2 stages of the Tour de France Femmes which finished and started in Geneva.
The mission was to block the roads to allow the race to take place in complete safety.

For these purposes, civil protection personnel were able to use their knowledge of traffic regulation, radio communication, all in the interest of the community. Given that our colleagues were the first point of contact with the sometimes frustrated motorists, their interpersonal skills and calm ensured that these two days passed without incident and that the runners were able to continue the course in neighboring France at good speed.
