This week, our team was mobilized as part of the telematics improvement course.
The objective of the course was to take stock of telematics equipment as well as to ensure its proper functioning, and to put the teams in a situation so that they are able to manage disaster situations. These tasks are essential to preserving the capacity of intervention teams to engage in the event of a disaster.
Personnel deployed :
- 1 Commander
- 2 first lieutenants, including the head of situation monitoring
- 1 Lieutenant
- 11 Soldiers
- 1 quartermaster
Missions accomplished :
- Reminder of means of radio communication (theory on the use of radios and installation of an antenna on a construction)
- Maintenance and directory of telematics equipment within various intervention sites (Conifèress, Colombières and Céligny)
- Disaster situation exercise to ensure better management and coordination of teams to optimize efficiency in the field
- Contacting the caretakers of buildings housing sirens
